Robin Miller

Robin Miller is an Illustrator currently based in Kansas City, Missouri. Born in rural Pennsylvania, where there wasn't much to do except draw and watch movies. Watching films like Jim Henson’s Labyrinth and The Dark Crystal where the puppets were an early influence on Robin’s art. They are currently a Senior at Kansas City Art Institute pursuing their BFA in illustration. Where they are focused on creating digital illustrations, 3D modeling, painting, and murals. In their senior year thesis titled “Goodnight Robin” they are exploring fiber techniques to create illustrations such as needle felting, soft sculpture, and quilting. Robin’s work is whimsical, fun, bizarre, playful, and is always very colorful. Drawing inspiration from fabulator literature, childlike wonder, surrealism, nature, puppetry, and cats. Robin has exhibited their work in the OSU Museum of art, Tour De Quartz, Oak Street Mansion, as well as being featured on the KCAI website.
